Hugh Laurie, best known for playing Dr. House on the famous television series, has chosen Marbella (Málaga) and two other Spanish cities for his  concert tour in July to present his blues album ‘Let Them Talk’ (Warner, 2011).

The versatile British actor first comes to Spain to present his album with three concerts to be held on July 26 at the Teatro Artery Parallel in Barcelona, the 27th at the Teatro Circo Price in Madrid and, finally, the July 29 at the Starlite Festival of Marbella.

Beside Spain, Laurie visits countries like the U.S., Argentina, Chile, Ukraine, Russia, Scotland, England, Holland, France, Switzerland, Germany, Monaco and Portugal, in a tour that has become already phenomenon due to the high number of visitors worldwide.

Finca Cortesin will host the Volvo World Match Play Championship from May 17th-20th for its third consecutive edition. The venue Finca Cortesin is doing the last preparations for this important world class event that will bring the best golf players in the world to the Spanish Costa del Sol one more time. The tournament will be played in Round Robin Match Play format for 4 consecutive days as last year.

From March 6^th till March 22^nd about 50 journalists a day have the pleasure of test driving the new Mercedes SL 500 in the morning so they can write their articles for their magazines and / or tape their items for their TV stations.

In the afternoon the journalists are invited to drive one of the classics “SL” models Mercedes has brought in from Germany to Marbella. After an impressive day the journalists get to enjoy Marbella by night and stay in one of the leading luxury hotels of the world.

Loving his cars, our office manager Robert Christen is delighted of having the pleasure of seeing both the brand new SL 500 drive by in the morning and many famous Mercedes SL models driving by in the afternoon, right in front of his office!!!

Cadiz, situated in southern Spain, is celebrating the bicentenary of Spain’s first Constitution. This Constitution was signed in Cadiz on March 19, 1812 and established principles like national sovereignty, the separation of powers and freedom of the press for the first time. This very important date is being celebrated in the Andalusian town of Cadiz with a lot of cultural and political celebrations and the assistance of the Spanish King. The streets are full of visitors enjoying the street performances. Flamenco performances will take place at the famous theatre “El Falla”.

Due to Saint Joseph’s day on 19th March, the people of Cadiz call the Constitution “La Pepa”, as the Spanish nickname for Joseph is “Pepe”. In Spanish the word Constitution is female and therefore ends in Pepa instead of Pepe.
