The property market, in particular in Marbella, is beginning to show signs of renewed activity, partly due to the fact that properties have been dramatically reduced in price. In the past two months all major agencies, among them all Engel & Völkers offices in Spain, are reporting increased sales activities and successful completions.

After many months of lower sales, we are beginning to see a rising confidence level and buyers are returning to the market. Some purchasers have been looking for months, even years, and are now actively buying properties at prices which only a year ago were never achievable. Properties are selling again, in all price categories, as prices are reaching their low point and buyers realize the opportunity to purchase a good property at a very good price, possibly the lowest price in this current market.
