San Roque Golf

San Roque Golf is one of the stars of the coast; the former estate of Domecq sherry family is worth a visit even if it is just to see the magnificent clubhouse.

There are two golf courses in San Roque Golf area (also named as Sotogrande Alto), designed by Dave Thomas, Perry Dye and Seve Ballesteros. Situated at the foothills of the Sierra Bermeja, where the mountains meet the sea, the San Roque Golf Old Course is rated as one of the finest in Europe and its clubhouse offers four different restaurants with high class cuisine, from Spanish Tapas to Japanese food, comfortable conference rooms in an elegant environment, relaxing terraces, heated pool, beauty and therapeutic treatments as well as an equestrian centre with top class facilities, tennis and paddle courts, of course a Pro shop.

In the summer the club offers events which are counted among the social high lights. As we could read in the actual Essential Magazine, as of this month, green fees are reduced from € 160 to € 120 for the Old Course, and from € 100 to € 80 on the New Course.
